As in another village in the Sokyryany region, Vitryanka, in Bratanivka, the Horses made of fringe and old carpets go out on Malanka, and a doll plays the role of Malanka herself. Her movements are closely followed by the Horses during the dance - and they repeated every move.

Other Malanka“s characters include female and male Gypsies, Grandfather and Grandmother, and a merry crowd dressed in store masks.
